    uncomfortable room temperature

The staff was friendly and accommodating, making sure we felt taken care of .

Our first night's room was overheated and uncomfortable, which disrupted our sleep.

The hotel staff is excellent. The staff at the reception was very helpful during check-in, and the concierge staff (especially Pascal) were par excellence. Comfortable room, nice restaurant.

Location is not as central as some of the other hotels in Paris where I've stayed but it is close to two metro stations so it's not as bad.

The location on Trocadero is great. It was only an overnight stay but the service was very good. The kitchen is particularly recommended! The lunch lunch is great (plat du jour) at an unexpectedly affordable price ratio. You sit in a sunny inner garden. Even without an overnight stay, the restaurant is great!

The location remains fabulous as is the building itself. It is great to have a quiet room in central Paris. However the lobby and room furnishings have changed considerably since my last stay a couple of years ago when it was part of the Sofitel group and unfortunately it has not been for the better.

The room decor was already showing signs of wear despite being recently refurbished. The colour scheme in the lobby is garish and unfortunately it has lost the feeling of "class" which used to distinguish it.

    extensive breakfast

    Perfect for Families Visiting Paris

The concierge staff was an absolute bright spot they were super helpful and friendly made every effort to help us out. The breakfast was extensive and amazing lots of options to choose from and a lovely dining area.

It wasn't the cheapest place out there but the experience was worth it.

The location was ideal. It was easy to walk to a number of prominent historical sites (Eiffel Tower; L'Arc de Triomphe) or take the subway or train (Versailles, La Louvre, Sacre Couer, Notre Dame, etc.). Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was beautiful (Jr. Suite). Restaurants abound in the area. Was able to pay in dollars, rather than Euros, for the stay and the hotel would exchange dollars for Euros at the desk if desired. Definately a pleasure to stay here.

    I wasn't ready for this!

Learning our names and offering personal assistance. The breakfast buffet was surprisingly extensive, with options like scrambled eggs and salmon. A good surprise was the lovely garden. Truly a nice experience!

Very good location - close to great museums and fine restaurants, but not that close to other attractions, with the exception of Eiffel Tower. There is free internet access in the hotel.

    Friendlyness of the staff

Too exoensive for the comfort level. The kids slept in a sofa bed that was far away from being a decent bed for 4+ or 5 star hotel !!

    damp room
    hot water

After almost giving a glowing review, i couldn't ignore the lack of hot water and the miserable dampness of my room. The dusty, outdated decor was just the cherry on top. Expected some sort of upgrade for the inconvenience, but was treated like any other guest. Definitely not worth the premiums they think they deserve.

No more than a 3 minute walk from Victor Hugo and Trocadero and The Eiffel Tower is in several minutes' walk. On arriving the staff were friendly and helpful with very good command of English. Not very big, but nice room with fantastic bed and terrific pillows. There was a fridge in the room. There were some good restaurants, patisseries and a supermarket close by.

There wasn't a kettle to make a hot drink and the mini bar was rather expensive.

The beautifully kept garden was my favorite spot, perfect for enjoying breakfast surrounded by magnolias and gardenias. I also loved how cute the staff were, remembering my name.
